Neuer: Bayern let Dortmund escape

The goalkeeper was unable to hide his disappointment with Tuesday's loss and feels Bayern should have decided the game over 90 minutes.Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has voiced his frustration with his side's DFB Pokal semi-final defeat to Borussia Dortmund on penalties.

Robert Lewandowski gifted Bayern a 1-0 lead in the opening 45 minutes, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's second-half equaliser sent Tuesday's game at the Allianz Arena into extra-time - and eventually spot kicks.
FCB then failed to convert any of their penalties, leaving Neuer angry with his team's performance as he feels they got plenty of chances to decide the encounter in regular playing time.
"The penalty shootout went badly, but it was a good reflection of the match," Neuer was quoted as saying on the official Bayern website.
"We could have won it, not just in the 90 minutes, but also in extra-time. We had it all under control, so we should have kept going and we had to score a second goal.
"It obviously leaves a bitter taste."
Tuesday's defeat ended Bayern's hopes of winning the treble.
The Bavarians clinched the Bundesliga title at the weekend and meet Barcelona in the semi-finals of the Champions League, with the first leg at Camp Nou scheduled for May 6, yet the DFB-Pokal will now go to either Dortmund, Wolfsburg or Arminia Bielefeld.
