Official: PSG complete permanent Aurier signing

The Cote d'Ivoire international says he wants to help take the club to the very top of the European game after agreeing a four-year contract.Paris Saint-Germain have completed the permanent signing of full-back Serge Aurier from Toulouse.

The Cote d'Ivoire international joined on a season-long loan deal last summer and has enjoyed an impressive campaign with the French champions, winning the Coupe de la Ligue and Trophee des Champions to date.
PSG have now confirmed they have exercised the option to make the 22-year-old's stay permanent, with Aurier signing a four-year deal at Parc des Princes.
"The project here at Paris Saint-Germain is exceptional," he told the club's official website. "I am enjoying magnificent season, both on an individual and team level.
"I am very proud that the club is again showing its confidence in me. I will continue to progress to help the team reach the summits of the game, both in France and Europe."
PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi is confident that Aurier's signing represents a vital step in the future of the side.
"Serge Aurier is a young player with enormous potential," he said. "Like his young team-mates, he represents the future of Paris Saint-Germain. It was logical that we trigger the option to buy.
"The club's project continues, especially our policy of conserving our best young players. Serge will become an essential element of the team in the future."
