Another round of indictments' expected in FIFA case

An IRS official revealed that there will be more names added to the list of 14 officials already indicted on racketeering, wire fraud and money laundering conspiracy charges.A United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) official is "fairly confident" there will be further indictments in the criminal investigation into Fifa.Nine Fifa officials and five corporate executives have already been indicted with racketeering, wire fraud and money laundering conspiracies, among other offences.The chief of the IRS United in charge of criminal investigations, Richard Weber, said he expected further indictments.I'm fairly confident that we will have another round of indictments, he was quoted as saying by the New York Times.Weber added: I don't think there was ever a decision or a declaration that we would go after soccer.We were going after corruption.Despite the scandal that has rocked Fifa, president Sepp Blatter was re-elected on Friday.
