Hazard: I was like a kid with a toy lifting Premier League title

The Belgian playmaker enjoyed a sensational season on both a club and individual level and admitted that picking up the trophy made him feel 20 years younger.Chelsea's Eden Hazard has admitted that getting his hands on the Premier League trophy made him feel like a child with a new toy.The Blues sealed the title with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace earlier this month, finishing eight points clear of second-placed Manchester City.Hazard was named Player of the Year by Chelsea, the PFA, and the Football Writers' Association after a superb season, but the Premier League title was the award that gave the Belgian the most satisfaction.
It was a good week, he told Chelsea TV ahead of the Blues' friendly with the Thailand All-Stars in Bangkok on Saturday.We got the trophy at Stamford Bridge, and now we're in Bangkok to see the fans.[Picking up the trophy] I was like a kid when you get a new toy. I came here to win this trophy, we did it this season and it's been a great season for all of us.When you play the last game at Stamford Bridge and you know you're already champions, it's easy, and we wanted to finish for the fans with a victory.It's the end of a fantastic season for me. I got a lot of trophies, it's fantastic, I cannot describe. I just want to say thank you' [to my team-mates] because without them I am nothing. I cannot play alone. They give everything on the pitch.Hazard is looking forward to playing in front of some of Chelsea's overseas fans in Thailand and Australia, where Jose Mourinho's men will take on Sydney FC on Tuesday.And the 24-year-old insisted he would not be taking the game in Bangkok lightly in spite of the fierce heat.The flight was long, but we know it's for a good reason," he said. "We enjoy it here with the fans and finish the season in a good way.When you are outside on the pitch you give everything, it doesn't matter the weather. We still have to give everything like we did the last game. The pitch is not bad, and we have to enjoy.Hazard and many of his team-mates will take part in international fixtures next month before jetting off for their summer holidays.The Belgian, though, is already focusing on retaining the Premier League title next term.Asked if he thought that would be possible, Hazard simply replied I hope.
