Swiss police seize more data from FIFA

Swiss authorities have seized computer equipment from Fifa President Sepp Blatter's office as part of an investigation into corruption in football's governing body. The inquiry, which Fifa claims to have requested in November, is looking into possible criminal mismanagement and money laundering related to the next two editions of football's most prestigious tournament.World football's governing body willingly handed over what is hoped to be useful computer data at its Zurich headquarters on Wednesday, according to Swiss police. The latest probe is unconnected to the FBI investigation which saw a number of past and present Fifa officials indicted following raids on Fifa headquarters in May.Police insist that Sepp Blatter, who recently resigned as the organisation's president just days after being re-elected, and his secretary Jerome Valcke are not suspects in the case.
