Benzema set on Turin comeback

Karim Benzema is presently in Lyon working hard on recovering from his knee injury. The forward, who sprained his knee during the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals, will return to Madrid this Wednesday to continue treatment, after having spent some time with his family. Taking advantage of not being available for the game at Balaídos, the Frenchman decided to return to his hometown to see his favourite doctor.

Benzema went to the Paul Santy orthopaedic centre to see Dr. Sonnery-Cottet . Jesús Olmo, the head of Real Madrid's medical services, also flew to Lyon to supervise the recuperation process that the Frenchman was to follow. The French doctor had already performed a small operation on Benzema back in June 2013.
While in his home city, Benzema also went to see his preferred osteopath who has served him ever since his time at Olympique Lyon. The French forward is hoping to recover in time for the Juventus game on 5th May in Turin, but it won't be easy to do so.
If he doesn't make it to that game in time, next up would be the league fixture at the Bernabéu against Valencia on 9th May four days later. This would be his plan B, as what Karim really wants is to make a big comeback against Juve in the Champions League.
