La Liga Team of the Week: Chicharito keeps Madrid in the race as Messi sets up derby win

The Mexican forward struck twice to keep Real's title hopes alive with a 4-2 success at Celta Vigo, while the Argentine inspired a 2-0 victory for Barca away to Espanyol.Only two points still separate Barcelona and Real Madrid at the top of La Liga after the 33rd round of matches in the Primera Division.Barca beat city rivals Espanyol on Saturday to extend their advantage to five points, but Madrid came out on top in an exciting game at Balaidos as they defeated Celta Vigo 4-2.Elsewhere, there were wins for Altletico, Valencia, Sevilla, Almeria, Levante and Athletic Club in the 33rd round of the competition. In goal, Fabricio was the hero for Deportivo with several superb saves in his side's 1-1 draw at Malaga.

At the back, Gerard Pique continued his fine form for Barcelona with a solid showing against Espanyol, while Sergio Ramos helped Madrid to a vital victory at Celta and set up the all-important fourth for Chicharito and Daniel Carrico impressed for Sevilla in their 2-0 success at home to Rayo Vallecano.
In midfield, Ever Banega shone for Sevilla as well with a dominant display at the Sanchez Pizjuan. Valencia pair Sofiane Feghouli and Dani Parejo stood out as Nuno's men thrashed Granada 4-0 and Antoine Griezmann hit two more goals for Atletico in their 3-0 win over Elche at the Vicente Calderon.
In attack, Nolito was on target and a constant threat for Celta against Madrid, who ran out 4-2 winners thanks to a double from man-of-the-moment Chicharito. And for Barca, Lionel Messi was the inspiration again as he created the first goal with a stunning pass from midfield and then netted the second from a tight angle.
