Mexes: Things can't get any worse for AC Milan

The experienced defender has admitted the Rossoneri are going through a tough time, but has urged his team-mates to keep giving their all.Philippe Mexes believes things can only get better for AC Milan as the team approach the end of a disastrous 2014-15 campaign. The San Siro side have dropped to 11th spot in the Serie A table after last weekend's 3-0 defeat at the hands of Napoli and another tough task awaits on Saturday when they host Roma.Mexes has urged his team-mates to take the positives from the loss to Rafael Benitez's men, though, and keep working together in order to overcome their difficulties.

Our situation is very delicate but it cannot get any worse and now we have to take what was good from Napoli and go forward. We had the right spirit in that situation and with that sort of spirit we can get a few more points," Mexes told Milan Channel. We have to show the same spirit as we did at Napoli where we went 60 minutes without conceding a goal despite the fact that we were a man down after thirty seconds and we had to face a penalty.
We need the whole team working together. It is not always easy to keep the same spirit and the same professional approach but we need everyone to do that.Milan recorded a scoreless draw away against Roma earlier this campaign.
